生平
艾尔出生于美国加利福尼亚州的圣地亚哥，[2] 后来经过两次大搬迁，住在俄亥俄州和华盛顿州，而他的家人搬到了俄勒冈州。[2] 艾尔在搬到加利福尼亚州南部后，住在蒙大拿州。2000年，艾尔毕业于洛磯山學院。[3] 艾尔出名后，对母校贡献良多，为学院筹措了教育科研资金。[4]
